Shkodra became another important center for cyber security, with the development of a training on Cyber Hygiene by the National Authority for Cyber Security (AKSK), in cooperation with CRDF Global and the support of the US Department of State. The event attracted 500 participants, including in-room and online participants, from public administration and ordinary citizens.
The training aimed to raise awareness of digital risks and improve skills to protect against cyber attacks, focusing on key techniques for protecting systems and data. Participants were also briefed on the importance of cyber hygiene in everyday life, minimizing the risks of human error, which causes over 70% of cyber incidents.
This training is part of a national initiative of AKSK, which has so far involved over 2400 participants in trainings held in Tirana and Vlora, with 1600 of them certified. After the success in Shkodër, the training will continue in Korçë, with the aim of further expanding cyber security awareness throughout the country.
